Restore Deleted Object Lock Enabled Backups
If you delete an object lock enabled backup location associated with an object lock enabled bucket, then all the corresponding backups get deleted.
Prerequisites
Before you attempt to recover deleted object lock backups, ensure that you have access to:
- The original object lock enabled bucket (it must still exist in the object store with the data intact)
- The original region and endpoint URL used when the backup location was created
- The cloud account credentials that were associated with the deleted backup location
- The encryption key (if the backup location was configured with encryption)
Procedure
To restore or recover those deleted backups, recreate the backup location:
Enter the following fields. For more information, see Configure a backup location.

Name and Cloud Account

Path/Bucket: specify the name or path of the object lock enabled bucket linked with the object lock enabled backup location you deleted

Encryption key (optional), Region, Endpoint, Disable SSL and Storage class
Recovered backups appear in Home page > Dashboard > Activity timeline > Backup tab of the Portworx Backup Dashboard.
