Delete a cluster
When managing Kubernetes clusters with PDS, there may be instances where you need to force delete a cluster that cannot be removed through the usual deletion process. This could be due to the cluster being unresponsive or having issues that prevent a graceful removal.
To remove a target cluster:
-
In the Clusters Overview page, select a cluster that you want to delete and click on the vertical ellipsis menu icon.
-
Select Forget Cluster from the options.
-
In the Delete Cluster -> Cluster Name text box window, enter the cluster name you want to delete.
-
Select Forget Cluster.
noteUse the cluster deletion feature with caution, as it cannot be undone.
The following topic explains how you can clean up the associated resources or data that were deployed on a target cluster:
📄️ Clean-up resources
When you delete a cluster in the PDS platform, it is essential to clean up all associated resources to avoid any residual data or configurations that might interfere with future deployments. Below is a detailed explanation of the steps to clean up these resources effectively.
