NFS Backup Locations

Portworx Backup enables you to add the following on-premises or cloud-based Network File System (NFS) shares as backup locations:

• On-premises NFS backup location
  • Generic on-premises NFS share
  • FlashArray (FA)
  • FlashBlade (FB)
• Cloud-based NFS backup location
  • EFS volumes
  • GCP NFS Filestore
  • Azure NFS file share

Prerequisites

Esnure that you have the following setup before you add an NFS backup location:

• (Optional, applicable for Portworx Backup with Portworx Enterprise) Portworx Enterprise 2.13.6 or later, or 3.0.0 or later version.

• Stork 23.6.0 or later version is installed on all application clusters.

NFS-based backup location supports generic, manual, and scheduled backups.
