Prepare your environment for installing Portworx CSI

This page provides instructions to configure your environment for installing Portworx CSI. These configurations ensure compatibility with Pure Storage's FlashArray, FlashBlade, or a combination of both as backend storage for Kubernetes applications.

Refer to the appropriate section based on your requirements:

• Use FlashArray as backend storage for Kubernetes applications, for information on disabling secure boot, configuring multipath, setting up Udev rules, managing user access in FlashArray, and creating the px-pure-secret using the pure.json file.
• Use FlashBlade as backend storage for Kubernetes applications, for information on managing user access in FlashBlade and creating the px-pure-secret using the pure.json file.

If you plan to use both FlashArray and FlashBlade as backend storage for your Kubernetes applications, complete the instructions in both sections. Then, create a single pure.json file containing both configurations and use it to create the Kubernetes secret.
