Install and Run PX-CSI

You can install PX-CSI to use FlashArray, FlashBlade, or both as back-end storage for Kubernetes applications. With Direct Access volumes, PX-CSI provisions FlashArray and FlashBlade volumes directly, maps them to PVCs that you create, and mounts them to pods. After mounting, your applications write data directly to FlashArray and FlashBlade.

Refer to the following pages to prepare your environment and install PX-CSI:

1. Ensure that the system requirements are met.
2. Prepare your environment based on the back-end storage.
   • FlashArray
   • FlashBlade
   • Pure Cloud Block Store (CBS)
   note

   You can use both FlashArray and FlashBlade in the same cluster; follow both pages and create a combined pure.json file.

3. Install PX-CSI by following one of the pages below for your cluster setup:
   • Cluster with internet access
   • Air-gapped cluster
