Early access feature
This section consolidates all Early Access (EA) features available across the Portworx Backup portfolio into a single, easy-to-navigate module. Early Access features allow users to evaluate and provide feedback on upcoming capabilities before they are officially released and fully supported. These features are typically in active development or final stages of validation and may undergo changes based on internal testing and customer input.
Each documented feature includes guidance on configuration, usage patterns, prerequisites, and any known limitations or caveats. The purpose of offering these features is to accelerate user feedback, improve usability, and ensure quality ahead of general availability (GA).
EA features are intended only for testing and non-production environments. Pure Storage strongly advises against deploying these features in production environments without formal GA status or guidance from the support team.
📄️ Back up FADA volumes
You can now backup Kubernetes applications that mount PersistentVolumeClaims (PVCs) provisioned with FADA (pure_block) volumes. This topic outlines the prerequisites and supported backup locations such as NFS, Amazon S3, and Azure Blob for backing up these workloads.
