Create object lock enabled scheduled backup

To create an object lock enabled backup:

1. On the Portworx Backup clusters page, select the cluster you want to back up.

2. Select the namespaces and apply label selectors to filter the resources you want to back up.

3. Select Backup.

4. In the Create Backup window, specify the following fields, refer Create a backup for more information on these fields.

   • Backup name
   • Backup location: object lock enabled backup location or name of the object lock enabled bucket you want to store your backups onto
   • CSI Snapshot Class
   • On a schedule
   • Choose a schedule policy: This lists only object lock enabled schedule policies associated with object lock enabled backup location. To create an object lock enabled backup, choose an object lock enabled schedule policy.
   • Pre-exec rule, Post-exec rule, and Backup labels

   

   note

   If you want to change the retention period between two scheduled backups, ensure that the retention period is set above the minimum default value.

5. Select Create.

A secure scheduled backup is created with a lock icon.
