Create object lock enabled manual backup

To configure an object lock enabled manual backup:

1. On the Portworx Backup clusters page, select the cluster you want to back up.

2. Select the namespaces and apply label selectors to filter the resources you want to back up.

3. Select Backup.

4. In the Create Backup window, specify the following fields, refer Create a backup for more information on these fields.

   • Backup name
   • Backup location: object lock enabled backup location where you want to save your backups onto
   • CSI Snapshot Class
   • Now: for the backup to start immediately
   • Pre-exec rule, Post-exec rule, and Backup labels

5. Select Create.

   A secure manual backup is created with a lock icon.

   note

   You cannot delete an object lock enabled backup until the retention period expires.
