Install Portworx on Rancher

Portworx can be installed on a Rancher-managed Kubernetes cluster using either a non-airgapped installation or an air-gapped installation for environments without internet access. The installation method you choose depends on your cluster’s network accessibility and security requirements:

  • Non-airgapped installation: Recommended for clusters with internet access, this method directly pulls Portworx container images from public repositories.
  • Airagpped installation: Designed for restricted environments, this method requires downloading Portworx images on an internet-connected machine, pushing them to a private container registry, and configuring the cluster to use this registry.

Follow the appropriate guide below based on your deployment scenario.
