Add clusters
Once you have installed Portworx Backup, you are ready to add any clusters you would like to back up from and restore to. How you prepare your cluster differs based on its environment. If you are using a cloud-based Kubernetes cluster, you must configure permissions on your cloud provider before adding it to Portworx Backup.
Prerequisite
- In an environment where Portworx Backup is installed on a public cloud (AKS or EKS or GKE) and Kubernetes clusters reside on-premises, ensure that those clusters have public IPs associated with them. Also, Portworx Backup should be reachable to the Kubernetes clusters.
