The topics in this section provide instructions for deploying and managing data services on PDS.
📄️ Deploy a data service
📄️ Data services dashboard
The Data Services Dashboard, which appears by default when you login, provides you the list of all deployed data services. From the list, you can click on a data service to view the Deployment details page.
📄️ Filter data services and deployment targets
Learn how to filter a specific data service or deployment target from the entire list.
📄️ Deployed data service dashboard
Learn more about the dashboard features for a deployed daya service.
📄️ Manage or edit a data service
Once deployed, you may find that your needs outgrow your initial data service deployment. You can manage your deployed data services in the following ways:
📄️ Update a data service
PDS automates the process of updating data services. In most cases, the update process is non-disruptive. When applying an update, nodes are restarted one at a time, so that the data service remains available to serve clients.
📄️ Backup a data service
Learn how to schedule a backup or take an ad-hoc backup of a deployed data service.
📄️ Restore a backup
Learn how to restore a backup of a deployed data service.
📄️ Add user API keys
Learn how to add user API keys in PDS, and share it with an other user to perform API calls.
📄️ Configure virtual memory for Elasticsearch
Know how to configure the virtual memory limit before deploying Elasticsearch
📄️ Delete a data service
When you want to remove your data service from your deployment target, you must remove it from PDS and delete the storage volumes from your cluster.
